The Sunday Times said that Debenhams would slash its dividend when it unveils its full-year results on Tuesday to conserve cash through the slowdown in high street sales.

The Observer said that Debenhams management would forgo a bonus for the second year running.

The Mail on Sunday said that Angus Monro, the former retail tycoon and ex chief executive of Matalan, had teamed up with Select Property, a Leeds-based developer, to launch a new overseas property timeshare venture. The scheme will offer customers a "fractional ownership" opportunity on holiday homes in Dubai, Spain, Portugal and Turkey.

The Mail on Sunday also said that Burberry had dropped model Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley as the face of the brand. Burberry told the newspaper it did not reveal details of its campaigns until closer to the release of the adverts.
