The White Company agrees Milton Keynes store

The White Company has agreed a deal to open a store at the Centre:mk shopping centre in Milton Keynes.

The lifestyle brand has struck a deal with Hermes Real Estate to open a 3,922 sq ft store on Silbury Arcade later this summer.

The store will stock The White Company’s full range of clothing and accessories, alongside its childrenswear, fragrance, bath and bed products.

Established in 1994 as a mail order business, The White Company has more than 50 stores across the UK.

Will Kernan, chief executive of The White Company, said: “We are in a prime location in the city’s prime centre, which creates a great opportunity to reach a very large, affluent consumer audience.

“Our new regional flagship at Centre:mk  will allow customers who currently shop online or travel elsewhere to enjoy the complete experience provided by The White Company.”

Speaking on behalf of Centre:mk’s joint owners, Hermes Real Estate and AustralianSuper, Gavin Murray, asset manager at Hermes Real Estate, added: “To have secured the first store from The White Company in the catchment is a great reflection of Centre:mk‘s appeal.”

CBRE and MMX Retail acted for Centre:mk. Space RPC advised The White Company.
