Timberland boss appointed Aldo chief executive

Timberland boss Patrik Frisk is to join Aldo as its new chief executive in November.

Frisk, who has headed VF Corporation’s Timberland business since 2011, will succeed current Aldo chief executive Rejean Dionne, who will retire next month.

Aldo Bensadoun, the company’s founder and chairman, said Frisk’s background in global brand retail and wholesale would be “instrumental in helping the Aldo Group reach new heights”.

Frisk said he was ready to “take on a new challenge” after 10 years working at VF Corporation. He added: “[Aldo] is incredibly vibrant, dynamic and has a unique culture rooted in strong values, with lots of potential for future growth.”

Stewart Whitney took over the role of Timberland brand president earlier this month.
