Timeline: A short history of the Sixty Group

Drapers takes a look back at the history of the Sixty Group following news this week that the future of the company, parent to Miss Sixty and Energie, could be safeguarded thanks to a new deal with the Italian government.

October 2010 – Sixty Group appoints Pietro Bongiovanni as chief executive replacing co-founder Renato Rossi.

March 2011 - Miss Sixty and Energie kicks off a revamp of their flagship UK store on Carnaby Street, London.

May 2012 - Sixty Group bought by investment company Crescent HydePark.

September 2012 – Sixty Group holds 11th hour talks in Italy with its Asian investors to try and prevent it from falling into administration.

October 2012 – Miss Sixty brand hangs in the balance, with stockists left waiting for deliveries amid confusion over whether the parent company would slip into administration.

November 2012 - Stockists forced to cancel their spring 13 orders.
