Timeline: Reiss staff moves

David Reiss this week told Drapers the business was “back on track” after a significant shake up on its team. We look back at the moves that have taken place over the last few years.

May 2008 Reiss reports 10% drop in operating profits year on as global expansion costs start to bite.

June 2008 Reiss hires Stella McCartney’s visual creative director Andy Rogers as its first brand director.

May 2009 Reiss launches edgier sub-brand 1971 for more youthful audience

September 2011 Reiss bucks the economic downturn to report an EBITDA rise of 44% to £13m

August 2011 Former Boux Avenue e-commerce director, Dan Lumb, joins.

March 2012 International director Sanjay Sharma is promoted to commercial director role.

May 2012 Gwynn Milligan joins the Reiss team as trading director

December 2012 Reiss reports annual turnover of £100m after the Kate Middleton effect. James Spreckley is promoted to creative director.

February 2013 Milligan leaves Reiss after just eight months as trading director. Former womenswear design director Lisa Richardson returns

March 2013 Commercial director Sanjay Sharma leaves after less than a year.

May 2013 Dan Lumb and Andy Rogers leave.
