TK Maxx e-commerce boss leaves for Target

TK Maxx’s e-commerce director for the UK Phil Wade has left the company to join Australian retailer Target.

Wade will join Target in December as marketing director, reporting directly to managing director Stuart Machin.

Wade joined TK Maxx in 2008 and previously held the positions of marketing director and assistant vice president of marketing at the company in the UK.

A spokeswoman for TK Maxx said the company was in the process of recruiting for Wade’s replacement.

The move is the latest in a string of appointments at Target. Tesco clothing boss Richard jones recently joined the company as merchandise trading director and Damian Walton also joined the business as general manager of homewares moving from Shop Direct where he was buying and merchandising director.
