TK Maxx to consolidate its head office

TK Maxx is understood to be looking for a new headquarters in order to consolidate its six existing offices.

The discount retailer is seeking a building between 200,000 sq ft and 350,000 sq ft in the north M25 region, near a train station to facilitate commuting, according to Property Week.  

TK Maxx’s current headquarters are spread across six buildings totalling more than 100,000 sq ft on Clarendon Road in Watford.

TK Maxx’s US parent company, TJX Europe, reported a 5% increase in net sales in the first quarter of this year, to $6.5bn (£4.8bn) worldwide.

Net income for the three months to March 31 was $454m (£333.5bn) worldwide.
