Toast appoints CEO and head of design

French Connection-owned business Toast has appointed former FitFlop boss Suzie de Rohan Willner as its first chief executive.

De Rohan Willner, who was at FitFlop for four years, will work alongside Toast’s founders Jessica and James Seaton.

The firm has also named Laura Shippey as head of design. Shippey, who will report to de Rohan Willner, was previously senior designer at Margaret Howell and J. Crew.

Launched by the Seatons in 1997 as a catalogue company, Toast stocks womenwear, menwear and homewares. It has 11 stores in the UK.
