Luxury goods maker Tod’s has unveiled Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway as the face of it’s new Signature range.
Tod’s Signature Collection consists of bags and small leather goods in a palette of strong colours including deep red, black, electric blue, fuschia and violet as well as the more subtle tones of lavender, beige and cream.
The campaign for Tod’s Signature is designed to reach out to a new and younger clientele and according to Tod’s creative director Derek Lam, Hathaway is the perfect representative for the collection.
“She is a multi-dimensional actress of great talent and universal appeal,” said Lam. “What makes this collaboration with Anne so perfect is that not only is she a young Actress with accomplished roles to her credit, she is also one to watch for her creative choices. She generates excitement based on the quality of her work, modern beauty and intelligence.”
Hathaway added: “I have been a long-time fan of Tod’s and was very excited to be a part of exploring a new side of their identity with the launch of their Signature Collection. The international Tod’s Signature campaign featuring Hathaway debuts in fashion magazines worldwide from October.
