Tommy Hilfiger calls for celeb authenticity

Tie-ups between fashion brands and celebrities need to be authentic, and stars have to be genuinely involved, legendary designer Tommy Hilfiger told the World Retail Congress in Berlin this week.

He said: “If you just put a celebrity name on a brand it doesn’t work.”
