Tommy Hilfiger names Avery Baker as chief brand officer

Tommy Hilfiger has promoted its chief marketing officer Avery Baker to the newly-created role of chief brand officer.

Baker, who takes on the new position alongside her current role, will be responsible for presenting a consistent global brand message and will head up brand strategy globally across all touch-points, including digital and marketing.

Baker, who joined Tommy Hilfiger in 1998, has relocated back to Amsterdam from New York to take on the expanded role. She will continue to work from the Tommy Hilfiger headquarters in both Amsterdam and New York.

Meanwhile, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein owner PVH has promoted Oliver Timm, president of regional management in Germany and Russia, to president of PVH Europe, country management.

The newly-created role will see all PVH EMEA country managing directors report into Timm.
