Top Drawer to highlight emerging fashion and accessories brands

A number of emerging fashion and accessory brands will make their debut at London-based trade show Top Drawer, which opens this weekend, as part of its Fashion First platform.

Clara Francis Jewellery, Trousseu and Monaara were selected as the ‘rising stars’ to receive a bursary by a panel of judges, headed by designer Zandra Rhodes.

Trousseu is a semi-precious jewellery brand handmade and designed in India by London College of Fashion graduate Urvi Vora, while Monaara offers scarves with vibrant painted designs on satin silk created by Monika D Kalra.

Clara Francis, whose debut stockist was Harvey Nichols and who has also created diffusion lines for Topshop and River Island, will be handmaking pieces using tiny glass beads at her stand.

This season, Top Drawer is hosting a new fashion and accessories floor for at Olympia, with a fashion accessories catwalk show that runs three times a day. Exhibitors include designer Orla Kiely with a collection of bags, satchel brand Zatchels, jewellery brands Sence Copenhagen, Auren and Azuni, and silk tie brand Reef Knots.
