Blacklock has held his current role since April 2014. Before that he was merchandising director at Topman’s Arcadia Group stablemate Burton.

He first joined Arcadia in 1997, holding various merchandising roles.

In 2002, he left to join Scottish value fashion retailer M&Co as a merchandiser. A six-month stint as a merchandiser at New Look followed in 2005, before he returned to M&Co in early 2006.

He worked his way up to merchandising director, before leaving to join Burton in 2012.
