Topshop and Beyoncé’s streetwear brand delayed to spring 16

The launch of a new streetwear brand from Topshop and Beyoncé has been delayed until spring 16.

In October 2014, the singer and the Arcadia-owned retailer announced they had formed a a 50:50 joint venture and would launch a new brand called Parkwood Topshop Athletic for autumn 15, which would comprise clothing, footwear and accessories for dance, fitness and sports.

It is not known why the launch has been delayed.

The brand has appointed consultant Amie Witton-Wallace as communications director in the run up to the launch next year.

Witton-Wallace has worked as a consultant to luxury brands including Roksanda and florist Flora Starkey for the past three years, and was previously communications director at fashion PR and marketing firm Starworks Group for five years to March 2012.

She was global communications director for eight years at Alexander McQueen to June 2006.
