Topshop and Topman to open new Cheltenham store

Arcadia has signed the lease on a 13,300 sq ft two-storey Topshop and Topman store in the Regent Arcade Shopping Centre in Cheltenham.

The existing Topshop store on Cheltenham High Street will be relocated, while this will bring Topman to the town for the first time.

Refurbishment of the centre, which opened in 1985, is currently in its third phase. The shopfit will begin in summer 2016. An opening date has yet to be announced.

Regent Arcade’s owner Canada Life Investments is in talks with other retailers to join the line-up at the shopping centre, which currently includes River Island, H&M, Schuh and Blue Inc.

It was advised on the Arcadia deal by property firm Cushman & Wakefield.
