Topshop hires Antipodium's Geoffrey Finch as creative consultant

Topshop has drafted in Antipodium founder and creative director Geoffrey Finch as creative design consultant on a part-time basis.

Finch, who will remain creative director of contemporary womenswear label Antipodium, will work under Topshop creative director Kate Phelan and alongside head of design Emma Farrow.

Farrow said Finch had “established such a strong identity and innovation at Antipodium, whilst creating incredibly commercial and desirable clothes”.

She added: “I can’t wait to get his view on our trends and ideas to see where we can take Topshop in the future.”

Finch said: “The Topshop brand has a wonderful synergy with my own label, Antipodium, and I cannot wait to work with the team on providing the Topshop customer internationally with the very best of what we can deliver.”

Australian Finch set up Antipodium in 2006 with Ashe Peacock.
