Topshop to open new Marble Arch store

Topshop will next week open a new store in London’s Marble Arch.

The 3,100 sq ft shop, which will open on November 29, will stock Topshop’s ranges including mainline, Boutique, denim, Tall, Petite, Maternity, Make Up, shoes and accessories.

To celebrate the opening, Topshop customers will be able to enter into a prize draw in order to ‘Win the Window’. Gift cards will also be handed out in the area between November 29 and December 1, which when redeemed in the new store will be worth from £5 to £100.

Arcadia, the owner of the womenswear retailer, this week announced that it had turned around from last year’s pre-tax loss to make a healthy pre-tax profit, despite sales dropping.

For the year to August 25 Arcadia made a total pre-tax profit, after exceptional items, of £103.7m. This compares with a loss for the 2010/2011 financial year of just over £120m.
