Topshop to open store in China

Aracdia young fashion powerhouse Topshop is gearing up to open its first China store early next year.

According to reports, the young fashion chain owned by Sir Philip Green has signed a deal to rent space in the Shanghai Superbrand Mall in the city's financial district.

A report on Reuters quoted sources close to the operation as saying, "Topshop is definitely not coming to China for just one store. It is also looking at many other Chinese cities, such as Beijing and Hong Kong."

Topshop is also believed to be in talks with several property developers in Hong Kong with a view to opening stores there next year.
