Topshop trading boss is latest Arcadia departure

The trading director of Topshop, James Mooney, is set to leave the business, becoming the latest in a string of high-profile departures from the Arcadia Group.

He follows Topshop managing director Mary Homer, Evans managing director Fiona Ross, Topshop/Topman’s retail director Craig McGregor in leaving Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia this year. Wesley Taylor and Yasmin Yusuf also left their respective roles as managing director of Burton and creative director of Miss Selfridge.

Topshop/Topman global commercial director Matt Brewster is also leaving the company.

Mooney has been at Topshop/Topman since 2008, and does not have a new role lined up once he leaves the company, Retail Week has reported.
