True Religion axes UK distributor

US denim brand True Religion has ended its UK and Ireland sales and distribution agreement with Four Marketing after more than three years.

Four Marketing will continue to distribute spring 11 orders. True Religion, which will take over autumn 11 orders, will open a London office and showroom above its Covent Garden store next month.

True Religion general manager for EMEA Julian Groves said: “Four Marketing have done a good job for us. We opened a store in May and we feel there’s an opportunity for us to grow the brand further.”

The company has 130 wholesale accounts in the UK and Ireland including premium denim indie Donna Ida, department store chain House of Fraser and etailer Asos.
