Sainsbury's clothing brand Tu was described as a 'star performer' that 'underpins the company's non-food offer' as the retailer unveiled a growth plan. The strategy will boost sales by £3.5 billion by 2010, with a third coming from non-food. Total sales rose 6.9% to £18.5bn, with pre-tax profits up from £104m to £477m for the year to March 24.
