Tu outperforms at Sainsbury’s

Sainsbury’s clothing brand Tu outperformed the rest of the business during the first quarter of the financial year, with sales increasing by 7.2% on the same period in 2016. 

The supermarket said Tu had enjoyed “strong growth” in both stores and online in the 16 weeks to 1 July.

There are now 212 click-and-collect points in Sainsbury’s supermarkets where shoppers can pick up their Tu packages.

The retailer is also trialling six collection points in its smaller format convenience stores.
