Superdry, Bolongaro Trevor, Barker Shoes and Linda Farrow were among the winners of this year’s UK Fashion & Textile Export Awards.
The awards, run by the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT), were set up to recognise excellence in selling overseas. They were presented by Princess Anne, president of the UKFT, and actress Joanna Lumley at the Landmark London Hotel last week.

The first Lifetime Achievement trophy went to Derek Rose, the founder of the nightwear brand of the same name, and the first award for Textiles was given to leather specialist Pittards.
Young fashion retailer and brand Superdry picked up the Contemporary Urban Award, while vintage sunglasses specialist Linda Farrow took the Accessories prize.
Other winners included luxury womenswear label La Petite Salope for the Designer Business Award, LXY Brands, which owns Strutt Couture, for Footwear, knitwear label Cashmere, which won the Heritage trophy, while occasionwear label Ariella took the High Octane Glamour Award. Lingerie brand Damaris won the Lingerie category.
