Japanese retailer Uniqlo is back on the growth trail in the UK, with plans to open 30 stores by 2010. It also aims to unveil the first of a new larger-format concept in London in October. The 14,500 sq ft store - the UK's largest Uniqlo shop - will open on October 19 on Oxford Street. Two more stores of 10,000 sq ft will open in May on Kensington High Street and in Reading, featuring parts of the Oxford Street design. Uniqlo debuted in the UK in 2001. It has eight UK shops.
