Footwear brand United Nude is reportedly set to close its Covent Garden store.
It is currently discussing a new London location with landlords, Fashion Network reports. In the meantime, the brand will continue to operate a UK office to manage ecommerce and press in Europe.
A spokesman for United Nude said “triple-digit rent increases” and “constant street-blocking construction” were major factors in the decision to close the store.
The Covent Garden location opened in 2011. The footwear label also previously operated a store at 80 Regent Street, which closed in 2015.
