Upper Street to launch plus size footwear collection

Made-to-order footwear brand Upper Street is launching its first ready-to-wear collection for women with larger feet.

The 16-piece range was designed in collaboration with stylist Nicole Smallwood and comes in sizes 7-11 with wide fit styles also available.

The line from the Drapers’ Footwear Award nominee includes metallic shades of pink, purple and grey and textured black fabrics including velvet, pony skin and patent.

Julia Grinham, co-founder of Upper Street, said: “Our customers have been asking us for a long time to launch a range of shoes for women with larger feet. They are fed up of feeling excluded from the market and want to be able to buy stylish and glamorous shoes too.”

Retail prices for the Upper Street by Nicole Smallwood range from £170-£240 and the collection will be available online at from October 3.
