Urban Stone duo acquire Jones licence

The founders of young fashion brand Urban Stone have launched a casualwear collection under iconic menswear label Jones for spring 08.
Brothers Ketan and Vim Shah have unveiled a 60-piece range, based around the Jones men’s boutique in Floral Street in London’s Covent Garden, which closed four years ago.

The pair formed a company called London Trend Design (LTD) in March after stepping away from the day-to-day running of Urban Stone, and have acquired the UK and European licence to create the Jones range from W&L Investments, which owns the Jones name. W&L already sells a Jones formalwear line via its Barönjon menswear chain.

The new casualwear range focuses on woven formal shirts, knitted tops, suits and denim. It features the original Jones logo.
LTD director Vim Shah said: “The collection will have two drops per season and is aimed at upmarket independents.”

Prices start at £20 for shirts, with suits at £110.
