Valentine's Day boosts Ann Summers' sales

Lingerie brands Ann Summers and Knickerbox reported strong post-Valentine's Day trading figures, with like-for-like sales at Ann Summers stores up by 6% in the three weeks to February 14. Online sales rose by 53% during the same period. Chief executive Jacqueline Gold said that more women had shopped for Valentine's products this year compared with last year. Ann Summers has 134 stores, with Knickerbox concessions in each one.
