Vente-privee buys Benelux flash Sales site to fuel growth

Vente-privee has bought a majority stake in rival flash Sales site was founded in 2006 by Belgian entrepreneurs Léon Seynave and Stefan Tournoy and is managed by Peter Grypdonck.

Its management team will now be merged into Vente-privee’s, but Vente-exclusive will be run as a separate business.

Jacques-Antoine Granjon, chief executive and founder of French flash Sales site Vente-privee, said the acquisition would bring together “the savoir faire and expertise of Vente-Privee” and the “influence of Vente-exclusive, a profitable company and a market leader”.

He continued: “This new phase marks our active expansion in Europe.”
