VF Corp to open London office

VF Corp, owner of The North Face, Vans and Timberland, is set to open a central London office next spring as it seeks to ”strengthen trade relationships and fuel growth” in the UK market.

The group has signed a 10-year lease on a 15,000 sq ft office space in London’s central Soho area.

Marino Scabbia Guerrini, EMEA group president for VF, noted that the new office would allow the business to be more closely connected to the market and would become an important hub for the business.

“We would like to bring the most advanced and innovative expression of our brands to the heart of London to strengthen trade relationships and fuel our growth in the UK market,” he said. “The close interaction between this facility and our VF brand stores in Regent Street, Oxford Street and Carnaby Street will also create the opportunity to amplify and evolve the engagement with consumers.”

The building has recently been remodelled by Darling Associates architecture firm, and includes a roof garden, terraces and art deco features.
