Burberry has unveiled the cast of its Billy Elliot-themed Christmas campaign featuring a host of British stars.
The three-minute video pays tribute to the British film, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. It is based on the opening sequence of the film and features footage from it as well as the original soundtrack, Cosmic Dancer by T Rex. The line-up includes Sir Elton John, James Corden, Julie Walters, Romeo Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Michelle Dockery, James Bay, George Ezra and Toby Huntington-Whiteley.
The video will be premiered tonight (November 3) at the brand’s global flagship store, 121 Regent Street, in London, during an event hosted by Burberry chief creative and chief executive Christopher Bailey and Sir Elton John.
It will then be shared on Burberry.com and across the brand’s social media channels.
Burberry is making a donation of £500,000 to be split between charities Place2Be and the County Durham Community Foundation, which run projects that focus on reducing barriers to education, training and employment.
