Video: Burberry launches Romeo Beckham festive ad campaign

Romeo Beckham has been named as the face of Burberry’s festive ad campaign, which showcases the luxury brand’s products in a film called “From London with Love”.

The film shows Romeo Beckham delivering the gift of love to a young couple, played by British models and dancers Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward, who take him on a journey of romance and festive enchantment through the streets of London.

Under the direction of chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey, the film is set against a theatrical London backdrop, which features more than 50 dancers, with their performance inspired by the golden age of cinematic musicals.

The launch of the campaign coincides with the release of the full range of Burberry festive gifts, offering the luxury brand’s most personalised collection and customer service to date. It includes classic pieces which are paid homage to in the campaign – Burberry’s heritage trench coat, cashmere scarf, men’s tailoring, women’s eveningwear, and the new Burberry Beauty make-up look created by Burberry make-up artistic consultant Wendy Rowe.

The brand is offering a personalised collection with a full monograming service for key pieces within the festive collection - including heritage cashmere scarves, colour block ponchos and the My Burberry fragrance for women – which will be available from today. Global customers will have the ability to personalise bespoke gifts with up to three initials.

The ad campaign will run across outdoor advertising, cinema and on all of the brand’s global social media platforms for three months.

Burberry has also continued its partnership with Twitter, which will give customers in the US the opportunity to purchase beauty products via tweets.

In London consumers will be able to interact with and personalise the festive film at the One Piccadilly billboard site, creating a bespoke edit of the film with a message unique to them.
