60 seconds with: John Lewis retail operations development director Simon Russell

Simon Russell, retail operations development director at John Lewis, talks to Drapers about how the department store is adapting its operations to facilitate multichannel shopping. 

Speaking at Drapers Operations Forum 2016 in London in June, Russell noted that the customer journey has changed, and retailers now need to replace legacy systems with those that can link up this journey across different touch-points in order to offer a truly multichannel service.
