Vidur joins BFC’s Newgen Men line-up for autumn 15

Ready-to-wear menswear brand Vidur joins nine other emerging menswear design talents to receive Newgen sponsorship by the British Fashion Council and Topman for the autumn 15 edition of London Collections: Men.

Previous recipients Agi & Sam, Astrid Andersen, Craig Green, Lee Roach and Nasir Mazhar will all receive catwalk sponsorship, while Alex Mullins and CMMN SWDN will each receive presentation sponsorship.

Diego Vanassibara will receive funding towards an installation space and Kit Neale will receive sponsorship for a salon show.

The Newgen Men scheme was established in 2009 and also includes financial support and business mentoring.

Caroline Rush, chief executive of the BFC, said: “Each Newgen Men designer has already shown creative talent. The initiative provides the opportunity for these businesses to grow and apply their creative skills.

“Having nurtured many of the UK’s young menswear talent, Newgen Men is also a key component in raising the reputation of British menswear.”
