Virtual fitting rooms signs up new brands

Virtual fitting room has signed up a host of brands including Austin Reed, Crew Clothing and Savile Row Company following a multi-million pound investment into the company.

The business, which gives a virtual fitting room experience online to create a “photo-accurate, mirror-like, visualisation of fit”, received a £5m investment in April from a combination of companies including existing investor SmartCap as well as Conor Venture Partners, Fostergate Holdings Limited and The Entrepreneur’s Fund.

As a result has extended its brand reach to 23 labels in nine countries.

Other clients include Ghost, Hawes & Curtis, Henri Lloyd, Hugo Boss, Isabella Oliver, John Smedley, LK Bennett, M&Co, Mexx, Musto, Nicole Farhi, Superdry and Thomas Pink.

The business will use the new funding to support accelerated sales and marketing programmes and expand into new territories such as France, Germany and the US.
