Vivienne Westwood to combine men's and women's shows

British designer Vivienne Westwood will combine her men’s and women’s catwalk shows in London from January 2017.

Westwood currently shows her core menswear collection, Man, in Milan, while her womenswear collection, Red Label, has historically been presented at London Fashion Week.

But from next year, the two collections will be shown together under the one label, Vivienne Westwood. The autumn 17 presentation will take place during London Fashion Week Men’s in January 2017.

The decision was taken partly to reduce the size of the company, as well as to give buyers “a clear vision for the season”.

Diffusion lines Anglomania, the World’s End collection and Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood will continue as separate to the main brand.
