Walpole names Brands of Tomorrow

Brands including Drapers 30 Under 30 alumnus Luna Mae London and pyjama brand Desmond & Dempsey are among those named as Walpole’s 2019 Brands of Tomorrow.

Walpole, the industry body for the UK’s luxury sector, unveiled 12 brands for participation in its flagship development programme, which supports growing luxury businesses with mentoring and advice.

This year marked the 12th edition of the scheme and fashion brands were well represented within the winners. Alongside Luna Mae London – founded by Drapers 30 Under 30 alumna Claudia Lambeth – and pyjama brand Desmond & Dempsey, fashion brands in this year’s selection are: cashmere and womenswear brand Wyse London, footwear label Jennifer Chamandi, men’s sock firm London Sock Company, silk label Sabina Savage, travel accessories company Stow, restoration service The Restory and womenswear brand Anna Mason.

Former winners include luxury men’s sportswear brand Castore, Emilia Wickstead, Charlotte Olympia and Hamilton & Hare.
