The initiative offers brands mentoring from some of the UK’s leading luxury firms, including Oliver Sweeney, Thomas Pink, Selfridges and Harrods. Now in its 10th year, it has helped 85 brands, such as footwear designer Charlotte Olympia.

As well as Agi & Sam and Hillier Bartley, this year’s list includes women’s footwear designer Camilla Elphick, men’s footwear brand Duke & Dexter and leather accessories firm Troubadour Goods.

There were 12 recipients in total, with the type of business ranging from fabric sculptures to a British caviar maker.
