We Are Pop Up ceases to trade

London and New York-based retail property firm We Are Pop Up ceased to trade today after it failed to secure new investment.

We Are Pop Up

The platform, which was established in 2012 by retail strategy consultant Nick Russell, computer scientist Alastair Moore and studio artist Mike Salter, is up for sale.

“We Are Pop Up started in 2012 with the mission of making retail property in London easier to rent,” said Russell and Moore in a statement on the firm’s website. “Now, it is a social network of people bringing creative retail to life.

“Unfortunately, We Are Pop Up closes today and the journey ends here.”

Brands to use the platform included the Edwin, Ganni, Kit & Ace and Nike.
