Trend forecasting agency WGSN has launched a bespoke consumer insight and consultancy service.
WGSN Mindset brings together the services of consumer insight specialists Mindset Brazil, which WGSN acquired in 2013, and trend forecasters Stylesight and WGSN. It gives clients access to commision a team of consultants for specific research and reports offering marketing solutions, as well as consumer insights.
Senior vice president of WGSN Mindset Isham Sardouk, who was formerly senior vice president and chief creative officer of Stylesight, said: “Our revenues for these products rose over 70% in 2013, showing we already can deliver market leading capability - plus we have a strong demand from our clients seeking the ultimate edge for their brands commissioning bespoke research.
“Anchored in the legacy of WGSN and the methodology of Mindset we are now able to take the services we offer to an even higher level and it is fitting that [Mindset’s] heritage is reflected in the name of the business.”
All WGSN Mindset services are available to existing WGSN subscribers.
WGSN Mindset is the third launch from the group in the past 12 months; in September last year, it launched WGSN INstock, which allows merchandisers and buyers to plan pricing architecture and stock levels in a near real time application.
In August 2014, it launched the new WGSN.com, bringing together the services of WGSN and Stylesight on a single platform. Like Drapers, WGSN is part of Top Right Group.
