Whistle & Flute opens store in the City

Tailoring business Whistle & Flute has opened its first store and showroom in Spitalfields, London.

The shop, located on Widegate Street, offers bespoke and made-to-measure suits as well as shirts, socks, scarves and ties. Footwear from premium footwear brands Loake 1880 and Alfred Sargent and pyjamas by nightwear specialist Derek Rose is also available to buy.

Whistle & Flute previously only offered a visiting tailor service.

The business, founded by directors Allan Raper and Matthew Izzard in 2008, said an in-house stylist and colour consultant will join the company in the New Year.
