Whistles appoints new head of ecommerce

Whistles has appointed men’s tailoring business Charles Tyrwhitt’s online boss Jennie Blythe as its new head of ecommerce.

Blythe, who joined the retailer in February, is responsible for sales growth and reports into Whistles chief executive Jane Shepherdson.

She was head of web development and trading at Charles Tyrwhitt for three years from February 2012. Blythe replaces Louise Salt, who left Whistles in December to join Phase Eight as director of marketing and online trading.
