White Company bosses to land £3m bonus

Top managers at The White Company are set to share a £3m windfall after strong performances in sales and profits at the retailer.

The bonus, part of a long-term rewards scheme, comes after the fashion and homewares retailer saw sales increase by 10% in the 12 months to March compared with the previous year.

With the £3m set aside for managers involved in the scheme, which does not include founder Chrissie Rucker, The White Company recorded £4.7m profits for the year, a 5% increase year-on-year.

The retailer was founded in 1994 by Rucker, and has since been expanded throughout the UK with 50 domestic stores and internationally with a number of stores in the Middle East.
