White Company HQ heads to White City

Lifestyle brand The White Company is set to relocate its headquarters to Television Centre in White City, the iconic former home of the BBC.

Currently, the brand’s head office is based in Kensington, west London. The move will see the 350 staff working for the retailer relocate to the sixth floor of Television Centre, where the company is leasing a total of 32,000 sq ft.

Mary Homer, who joined The White Company as chief executive in March after quitting as managing director of Topshop, said: “We are delighted to confirm our head office move to this exciting and vibrant destination. This is a significant milestone for the company as we enter our next phase of growth and develop our business internationally.”

Other companies taking space in the building include ITV and Soho House, with a total of 500,000 sq ft of office space and 950 new homes on offer in the building.

The White Company joins Yoox Net-a-Porter in opening an office in White City. YNAP recently opened its 70,000 sq ft tech hub in the same area, close to the Westfield London shopping centre.
