Mint Velvet, the contemporary womenswear retailer backed by Clarks chairman Peter Davis, is to expand its website after a successful launch on October 15.
Mint Velvet commercial director Stuart Grant said the site - www.mintvelvet.co.uk - needs to have “destination appeal” and include initiatives such as magazine-style editorial content, blogs, and use external channels such as Twitter.
The transactional site was created using BT Fresca’s web platform FrescaCommerce Express and will also promote Mint Velvet’s retail sites.
Mint Velvet has opened two concessions in House of Fraser, in London’s Oxford Street and Westfield London. Designed by consultancy Kinnersley Kent Design, they use a charcoal and mint green colour theme, velvet-lined fixtures and matt and gloss finishes.
