Glasgow-based women’s young fashion retailer Honeyz.com is relocating from its 500 sq ft office in the basement of one of its stores to a 8,760 sq ft headquarters in the New Albion Industrial Estate just outside the city centre this week.
The new two-storey building includes a warehouse and both video and photography studios.
Honeyz.com, which was founded by entrepreneur Sarah Ali-Khalid six years ago and forecasts 110% profit growth for 2015, currently employs 20 people. It has two stores called Honey Boutique in Glasgow.
The office move will generate a number of job opportunities, including customer service, retail assistant, graphic designer and videographer roles.
The brand has also launched into wholesale. It unveiled new site Honeyzwholesale.com two weeks ago and has so far received orders from 30 independents.
Wholesale prices for spring 15 range from £2.50 for a T-shirt to £40 for a coat.
A new franchise scheme will follow, for which Honeyz.com is recruiting retail partners. Franchisees can buy into the brand for a flat sum of £10,000 plus £150 per week. Ali-Khalid, who will provide mentoring and support, hopes the first franchise will open this year.
