WSA footwear show sold

The holding company behind WSA, the world's largest footwear show, has been sold to a rival operator for an undisclosed sum.

WSA Global Holdings, the holding company of the Las Vegas show, has been acquired by ENK International the company behind US shows Sole Commerce and Fashion Coterie.

The sale follows speculation about a possible change of ownership at the last edition of WSA in August. According to reports WSA chief executive Skip Farber and chief operating officer Diane Stone will remain on the executive team.
