Zalando sales reached €1.09bn (£0.95bn) in the fourth quarter of 2016, up between 25-26% on the previous year.
Adjusted EBIT at the Germany-based etailer was €202-225m (£177-£197m), with margin between 5.6% and 6.2% during the period.
Zalando is further expanding its distribution network with a satellite warehouse in Sweden set to open later this year, similar to its satellite warehouses in France and Italy. The facility will be run by a service provider and aims to further improve Zalando’s customer proposition in the Nordic markets of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
“For the first time we broke the billion-euro revenue barrier in a single quarter, a clear result of our customer focus,” said co-chief executive Rubin Ritter. “We will continue to emphasise growth and further invest behind an ever-improving customer experience across all our markets.”
