Nigel Blow has spearheaded a year of expansion at Dublin department store Brown Thomas.
Blow relocated the menswear department, opening a 22,000sq ft department in the basement, along with a new jewellery and watch room.
Blow was drafted in two years ago, after five years as buying and merchandising director at Harrods, and oversaw a 15% rise in operating profit to €23.1 million (£18.4m) for the year to January 31.
TK Maxx European president Paul Sweetenham says: “Nigel’s a genuine chap. There are not many of those around in the retail world.”
