There were cocktails at London Textile Fair, music by Twenty8Twelve and a Kiwi birthday bash

WHAT The London Textile Fair cocktail party    

WHERE Business Design Centre, Islington             

The organisers of the London Textile Fair held a cocktail party on the evening of its opening day. Exhibitors and buyers enjoyed a few drinks after the show and were joined by ‘the royal family’ for the evening in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year. The entertainment As well as a visit from ‘royalty’, guests were treated to music from Jharda, the singing harpist, and jazz band The Robert Bell Trio.

Premium womenswear brand Twenty8Twelve held an evening of music and poetry reading at its Covent Garden store. Celebs at the event included Made In Chelsea star Amber Atherton, who also owns online jewellery boutique MyFlashTrash.

The entertainment Guests were treated to a performance from The Voice contestant Vince Kidd (below and bottom left) as well as several poetry readings.

To celebrate its third birthday, women’s young fashion indie Kiwi Boutique held an in-store event for its customers showcasing new stock.

The prizes Guests were given the opportunity to win discount vouchers to spend in-store and a star prize of a personal styling consultation with Kiwi owner Sally Morgan.
